What are the benefits of using goal setting worksheets? Is it not as easy to simply write your goals down? What about action? If forgetting to write it down, and instead acting on it, will that make a better result? Join me as we take a look at the benefits of goal setting worksheets.
Let us look at your options, but first we need to know the why! Why are you goal setting in the first place? The main point for almost all people is to achieve the goal. After all why set goals? Obviously we want to grow, to achieve, to be, to have, to do, etc.
So, our first option can be as easy as thinking of the goal. And we could easily stop there. But, will this really help? It may help with something small, but with something like buying a home; it could need much more to make it a goal achieved - reality.
There is a science to goal setting, and also an art. The science of it, is one which I like, and for many reasons. Imagine your goal has a probability factor of achievement. Simply thinking about your goal in a half hazard manner may have a 10% chance of achievement.
But wouldn't it be great to be able to increase the chances of success up to 50%, 60%, even right up to 99%? Well, it is fully possible, however, in many cases, simply thinking of a goal, does not give enough focus to the goal, to make it reality.
There needs to be more concrete assurances. You could write your goals down, and that can be great. But, without a system, this can easily be forgotten. Steps can be left out, and now you have problems.
A part of the solution is goal setting worksheets. Because goal setting worksheets are like a system, they can produce much more results. After all, think about doing something that works, you can pretty sure be confident that it can work again!
If goal setting worksheets work for you, as they have for others, then you can rest assured that they can work with other similar goals. So, worksheets used to achieve a goal to buy a car can likely work for buying a house.
There are a lot of uses for goal setting worksheets. The simplicity in them is what makes them successful, not to mention the steps that it gets you to go in. These steps are essential for success.
This makes the worksheets a kind of goal setting system. There are many different types of worksheet for setting goals. For example, some of these worksheets are designed for day to day.
Another type you will likely find is those that also come with a goal setting mp3. These types also come with goal setting worksheets, and can be a great way to learn an entire system for goal setting. For the serious goal setter, these goal setting systems can be the best investment you can ever make.

Marketing Your Business Online
If you are not already marketing your business online, it is time to start. Although there are a few exceptions, just about every business can benefit from online marketing. There are just so many advantages to this type of marketing. First of all, it is extremely affordable to market your business online. Other advantages to marketing your business online include the ability to reach a large target audience, the ability to reach potential customers all over the world and the ability to customize the marketing for different sectors of the target audience.
The affordability of Internet marketing is one of many reasons why many business owners are turning to the Internet for advertising. Advertising online is incredibly affordable especially when you consider how many potential customers a business owner can reach with an online marketing campaign. Most methods of online advertising are quite affordable and some of them do not have any direct costs. For example, you may choose to market your business online by participating in industry forums and posting links to your website whenever it is appropriate to do so. In this case the cost of creating and maintaining the website is insignificant in comparison to the number of potential clients you could reach through online marketing. Additionally, the costs associated with posting links to your website are incidental. You could consider the cost of having access to the Internet as part of the cost but you most likely require Internet access for other reasons as well so it is completely worthwhile.
Reaching a large target audience is another very worthwhile reason for marketing your business online. You may have spent a great deal of time and energy doing market research and determine who your target audience is. You may have also spent a great deal of time trying to figure out the best way to reach this audience. This is a very sound marketing principle but as it applies to marketing on local television, radio and print media it only allows you to reach a limited audience. However, when you take your marketing to the Internet you automatically drastically increase your potential target audience because you now have the ability to reach members of your target audience around the world.
This ability to reach customers around the world is another major advantage to marketing your business online. Regardless of where you live and operate your business, you have the ability to reach those who have an interest in the products you sell or the services you provide no matter where they live. This makes it possible for you to do business with customers around the world.
Likewise the fact that the Internet is available 24 hours a day is also very beneficial to those who choose to market their products or services online. Shopping for products and services in person can be very difficult especially for individuals who work long hours or those who work unusual hours. These working conditions make it difficult for these individuals to do business and make purchases of products and services they need during regular business hours. However, business owners who have an online presence are much more convenient because unlike stores and calling centers, the website never closes. This convenience gives potential customers the ability to view products and services, compare these products and service to the ones offered by competitors and make a purchase at any hour of any day.
If you are a business owner who is reading this article and you do not already have a strong online presence, you need to immediately start learning more about the world of Internet marketing. This is so important because if your competitors are marketing online, you may find they are gaining a steady advantage and are becoming more appealing to potential customers. Before too many of your potential customers become loyal customers of the competition it is time to start figuring out how you can market your business online and keep up with the competition.

TWELVE MAJOR CAUSES OF FAILURE.
Life’s greatest tragedy consists of men and women who earnestly try and fail! The tragedy lies in the overwhelmingly large majority of people who fail as compared to the few who succeed.
I have had the privilege of analyzing several people and I found out that ninety percent are classified as a failures. My research and analysis proved that there are more than 12 major reasons why people fail. In this article, a description of the 12 major causes of failure will be given. As you go over the list, check yourself by it point by point for the purpose of discovering how many of these causes of failure stand between you and success.
1. UNFAVORABLE HEREDITARYBACKGROUND: There is but little, if anything, which can be done for people who are born with deficiency in brain power. One method of bridging this weakness is through the aid of Master Mind. Observe with profit, however, that this is the ONLY one of the 12 causes of failure that is difficult to be corrected by anybody.
2. LACK OF A WELL-DEFINED PURPOSE IN LIFE: There is no hope of success for the person who does not have a definite goal to attain.
3. LACK OF AMBITION TO AIM ABOVE MEDIOCRITY: We offer no hope for the person who is as indifferent as not want to get ahead in life, and who is not willing to pay the price for success.
4. PROCRASTINATION: This is one of the most common causes of failure. “Old Man Procrastination” stands within the shadow of every human being, awaiting his opportunity to spoil one’s chances of success. Most people go through life as failures because they habitually wait for the “time to be right” to start doing something worthwhile. Do not wait. Start where you stand and work with whatever tools you have at your commands and better tools will be found as you go along.
5. LACK OF PERSISTENCE: Most of us are good starters, but poor finishers of everything we begin. There is no substitute for PERSISTENCE. Failure can not cope with PERSISTENCE.
6. UNCONTROLLED DESIRE FOR “SOMETHING FOR NOTHING.” The gambling instinct drives millions of people to failure. Evidence of this may be found in a study of Wall Street crash of 1929durin which millions of people tried to make money by gambling on stock margins.
7. WRONG SELECTION OF MATE IN MARRIAGE: This is a most common cause of failure. The relationship of marriage brings people of different background intimately into contact. Unless this relationship is harmonious, failure is likely to follow.
8. ILL HEALTH: No person can enjoy outstanding success without a good health. Many of the causes of ill health are subject to mastery and control. E.g. lack of exercise, over eating, wrong habit of thought.
9. INSUFFICIENT EDUCATION: This is a handicap which may e overcome with comparative ease. Experience has proven that the best- educated people are often those who are known as “self-made” or self-educated. It takes more than a college degree to make one an educated person.
10. LACK OF SELF-DISCIPLINE: Discipline comes through self-control. This means one must control all negative thought.
11. INTEMPERANCE: The most damaging forms of intemperance are connected with eating, strong drink, drugs, and sexual activities. Over indulgence in any of these is fatal to SUCCESS.
12. INTOLERANCE: The person with a closed mind on any subject seldom gets ahead. Intolerance means that one has stopped acquiring knowledge. The most damaging forms of intolerance are connected with religious, racial, and political differences of opinion.

BUILD YOUR SELF ESTEEM, A STARTER GUIDE TO SELF IMPROVEMENT
So how do you stay calm, composed and maintain self esteem in a tough environment? Here are some tips you may to consider as a starter guide to self improvement.
Imagine yourself as a Dart Board. Everything and everyone else around you may become Dart Pins, at one point or another. These dart pins will destroy your self esteem and pull you down in ways you won’t even remember. Don’t let them destroy you, or get the best of you. So which dart pins should you avoid?
Dart Pin #1 : Negative Work Environment
Beware of “dog eat dog” theory where everyone else is fighting just to get ahead. This is where non-appreciative people usually thrive. No one will appreciate your contributions even if you miss lunch and dinner, and stay up late. Most of the time you get to work too much without getting help from people concerned. Stay out of this, it will ruin your self esteem. Competition is at stake anywhere. Be healthy enough to compete, but in a healthy competition that is.
Dart Pin #2: Other People’s Behavior
Bulldozers, brown nosers, gossipmongers, whiners, backstabbers, snipers, people walking wounded, controllers, naggers, complainers, exploders, patronizers, sluffers… all these kinds of people will pose bad vibes for your self esteem, as well as to your self improvement scheme.
Dart Pin #3: Changing Environment
You can’t be a green bug on a brown field. Changes challenge our paradigms. It tests our flexibility, adaptability and alters the way we think. Changes will make life difficult for awhile, it may cause stress but it will help us find ways to improve our selves. Change will be there forever, we must be susceptible to it.
Dart Pin #4: Past Experience
It’s okay to cry and say “ouch!” when we experience pain. But don’t let pain transform itself into fear. It might grab you by the tail and swing you around. Treat each failure and mistake as a lesson.
Dart Pin #5: Negative World View
Look at what you’re looking at. Don’t wrap yourself up with all the negativities of the world. In building self esteem, we must learn how to make the best out of worst situations.
Dart Pin #6: Determination Theory
The way you are and your behavioral traits is said to be a mixed end product of your inherited traits (genetics), your upbringing (psychic), and your environmental surroundings such as your spouse, the company, the economy or your circle of friends. You have your own identity. If your father is a failure, it doesn’t mean you have to be a failure too. Learn from other people’s experience, so you’ll never have to encounter the same mistakes.
Sometimes, you may want to wonder if some people are born leaders or positive thinkers. NO. Being positive, and staying positive is a choice. Building self esteem and drawing lines for self improvement is a choice, not a rule or a talent. God wouldn’t come down from heaven and tell you – “George, you may now have the permission to build self esteem and improve your self.”
In life, its hard to stay tough specially when things and people around you keep pulling you down. When we get to the battle field, we should choose the right luggage to bring and armors to use, and pick those that are bullet proof. Life’s options give us arrays of more options. Along the battle, we will get hit and bruised. And wearing a bullet proof armor ideally means ‘self change’. The kind of change which comes from within. Voluntarily. Armor or Self Change changes 3 things: our attitude, our behavior and our way of thinking.
Building self esteem will eventually lead to self improvement if we start to become responsible for who we are, what we have and what we do. Its like a flame that should gradually spread like a brush fire from inside and out. When we develop self esteem, we take control of our mission, values and discipline. Self esteem brings about self improvement, true assessment, and determination. So how do you start putting up the building blocks of self esteem? Be positive. Be contented and happy. Be appreciative. Never miss an opportunity to compliment. A positive way of living will help you build self esteem, your starter guide to self improvement.

"10 Inspirational Quotes That Can Improve Yourlife".
It might take a little coffee or probably a few rounds of beer or any other booze you could get your hands on when it comes to relaxing after a hard day's work. Well, yeah I'm guilty about that one as well, unless I'm caught dead wearing a lampshade over my head after a few rounds of vodka… half-naked! Okay, bad example and I apologize to everyone reading this after getting nightmares about me in that state of drunken stupor.
Just don't ask how it happened, please.
But what's really interesting is that how do people go through the usual part of life when faced with vein-popping stress? I mean, the new age thing like Zen or yoga is one of the good things and it actually works. Is there room for the intellectual side of people who can actually smell the roses-in-a-can while on the move? It kind of had me thinking that there really must be something in this 'mind-over-matter' thing.
Humor is indeed the best medicine there is whenever you are. I mean anyone can pay good money to listen to a comedian just to make you wet your pants after laughing so hard. Despite of what's been happening, and to those who has gone though the ordeal, it's better to just laugh while facing the troubles with a clear mind than anger with a clouded vision. One of my favorite celebrities of all time may have to be Woody Allen. Now this is one guy who gives you the in-your-face bluntness that he pulls out with gusto, even without even trying. You can talk just about anything with a man, and he's bound to mock the subject and you'll end up laughing rather than being upset about it.
Woody Allen has this to say:
1. "Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons." It sounds good to me, I mean the practicality of all things does involve money but it doesn't have to take an arm and a leg to get it.
2. "I believe there is something out there watching us. Unfortunately, it's the government." 'Nuff said.
3. "There are worse things in life than death. Have you ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman?" This happens to be one of the classic ones. I mean the issue about life's little problems isn't all that bad, until 'he' shows up.
Sure, relationships can get complicated, or does have its complications that probably any author about relationships is bound to discover it soon. We follow what our heart desires, unless you're talking about the heart as in the heart that pump blood throughout your body.
4. "Love is the answer, but while you're waiting for the answer, sex raises some pretty interesting questions." And if you want more, just keep on asking!
5. "A fast word about oral contraception. I asked a girl to go to bed with me, she said 'no'." It sounds, 'practical', I think.
And when it comes to everyday life, he really knows how to make the best out of every possible scenario, and it doesn't involve a lawsuit if he strikes a nerve.
6. "Basically my wife was immature. I'd be at home in the bath and she'd come in and sink my boats." I never had a boat in my bathtub before. Just staring at it while soaking in hot water makes me seasick already.
7. "I am not afraid of death, I just don't want to be there when it happens." If it rains, it pours.
8. "I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose." It could get worse when you're guzzling on beer… or mouthwash, and it happened to me once!
9. "If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans." At least he doesn't smite us with lightning, and I'm thankful for that.
And despite of what may happen to all of us in the next ten, twenty, or even thirty years, I guess we all have to see things in a different kind of light and not just perspective. I can't seem to imagine life without any piece of wisdom that could guide us. Whether we're religious or not, it takes more courage to accept your fears and learn how to deal with them is all that matters when it comes to even just getting along.
And to sum things up, here is the last nugget of wisdom to go by… however, whenever, and wherever we may be.
10. "The talent for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don't have."
Just don't ask how it happened, please.
